Vinea Tirolensis on 21 October: The Stage Is Set for 88 Independent Winegrowers

Vinea Tirolensis has always been the most important showcase for the Independent Winegrowers of South Tyrol (FWS). This year, no fewer than 88 producers will take part on Wednesday, 21 October, as part of the “Hotel” trade fair in Bolzano. That is more than ever before – reflecting the steady growth of the Independent Winegrowers community and its increasing diversity.

Tasting wines, making new contacts and presenting the world of the FWS: the goals of the traditional Vinea Tirolensis have always remained the same. The number of participating wineries, however, continues to grow year after year – reaching 88 this year.

“This trend not only highlights the steady growth in FWS membership, but also shows just how important this platform is for us,” says FWS President Magdalena Pratzner. She emphasizes that what unites the FWS is not a single, uniform style, but rather a shared philosophy: “We believe in freedom in winegrowing, a strong sense of community in what we do, and authenticity in our craft,” Pratzner says.
