The historic vineyards of Baron Longo are located in the
south of South Tyrol, around the picturesque Castelletto in
Neumarkt/ Egna. A total of 20 hectares of organic vineyards,
biodynamically cultivated according to Demeter principles,
range from 240 metres a.s.l. up to Montan/Montagna, where
Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes thrive in the local nature
park at an altitude of 1,040 metres. The main varieties
produced by the family winery are Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc,
Cabernet and Merlot. As a winemaker, Anton Baron Longo
concentrates on wines that are distinguished by their subtlety,
nobility and elegance.
