First officially mentioned in the year 1324, Moar Hof in Burgstall/Postal originally belonged to the church and later to a farmer family. The Vernatsch, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Lagrein and Merlot varieties are cultivated in the vineyards surrounding the estate. The young vine-grower Florian Klotz Pertoll dedicates himself with great dedication to pressing his grapes, finding optimal conditions for maturation thanks to the west-facing site that is exposed to the sun until evening. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wines then mature in oak barrels in the ancient vaulted cellar. The light Vernatsch is excellently suited to a typical South Tyrolean afternoon snack with "Speck" and "Schüttelbrot". The rich and characteristic Cabernet-Merlot is very popular, as is the deep red, full-bodied and mellow Lagrein. The assortment of wine and fruit from Moar Hof is also available in our new farm shop.
