The unique winery of Haderburg Castle, located above Salurn, the southernmost village in South Tyrol, is an ideal area for growing large wine grapes in the best hillside conditions. Here, according to biodynamic principles, we grow the grapes for making our Cuvée Erah, mainly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as both of them grow in the nearby villages of Tramin, Kurtatsch and Salurn. Our Gewürztraminer is grown right in Tramin, on the hills of Rungg. Next to the wine-growing farm of Hausmannhof is a second farm belonging to the Haderburg Winery, the Obermairlhof, located in the Eisacktal valley and famous for its Sylvaner and mineral-rich Riesling.
