The surroundings of Lake Kaltern are home to excellent wines and have a long tradition of wine-growing, with many vineyards being family-owned. Our family has been cultivating vineyards and making wine for generations. In 2006, we began to process part of the grapes ourselves. Tradition, nature, passion and quality are the main values regarding the production of our honest regional wines. Our cultivation includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Reitl Weiss (Cuvèe), Bronner and Kerner varietals as well as the native South Tyrolean Vernatsch and St. Magdalener. In our steep hillside vineyards, we strive to achieve an ideal natural balance in order to obtain high-quality wines, as wine has been part of the history of our region ever since its origins.
